Group 1 winning two-year-old Cool Archie commences stud duties at Newhaven Park in 2026.

A brilliant two-year-old, Cool Archie announced himself as an elite talent winning five starts in a row as a two-year-old, culminating in his dominant victory in the Group One JJ Atkins. His exceptional combination of speed, precocity and class saw him crowned Champion 2YO Colt of his crop.

Cool Archie was a precocious, early and tough individual. He made his debut on the 5th of October, was second in the BJ McLachlan Stakes prior to Christmas & raced in the Magic Millions. Following a spell he came back to win four stakes races, defeating some of the best of his generation including Grafterburners, Torque To Be Sure & Beskar.

His unbeaten record reflects not only his natural talent but also his toughness, soundness and competitive attitude.

Elite Racing Performance

Cool Archie possessed the attributes breeders seek most — natural speed, early maturity and the ability to perform at the highest level.

Cool Archie combines a powerful pedigree with elite racetrack performance.

By an exciting young sire in Cool Aza Beel, he descends from a family renowned for producing high-class performers, offering breeders access to proven bloodlines that consistently deliver speed, class and commercial appeal.

His pedigree presents opportunities across a broad range of Australian broodmare populations, making him an attractive option for both commercial and owner-breeder operations.

A striking individual with outstanding balance, strength and athleticism, Cool Archie possesses all the physical attributes expected of a modern Australian stallion.

His powerful hindquarter, excellent shoulder and athletic movement were evident throughout his racing career and continue to impress breeders and bloodstock professionals alike.

‘We are very excited to have brought Cool Archie to stand at Newhaven Park in 2026. The fact that he is from one of our own families and was bred by ourselves, makes us immensely proud” – John Kelly
