February 11, 2013Invest Races Home to Run 2nd in Group 3 Carlyon Cup
Newhaven Park owned ‘Invest’ has run a brilliant second placing in today’s Group 3 Carlyon Cup over 1600 metres at Caulfield. The race was run at a fast tempo which saw the mare positioned perfectly on the rail behind the leading bunch before getting a split with 300 metres to go and power home through the tiring field only beaten by a neck by the eventual winner. This was a brilliant trial for her main goal the Australian Cup on March 9.
