March 20, 2012‘Collect’ – One to Watch
Newhaven Park bred ‘Collect’ ran third in Saturday’s Group 3 Skyline Stakes at Royal Randwick.
‘Collect’ was sold at last year’s Magic Millions January sale for $330,000 to Kevin Moses. The promising colt is by Fastnet Rock out of Sweet Ransom.
His first start was the Silver Slipper Stakes (G2) over 1100m where he ran 4th and his next outing will be decided at the end of the week but all going to plan he will race in the Pago Pago Stakes (G2) and then the AJC Sires Produce Stakes (G1).
Kevin Moses’s stable is very impressed with ‘Collect’, naming him one of the most intelligent horses they have ever had in the stable and also one of the most relaxed colts to deal with.
