Sydney, September 26 – Promising three year-old Man of Choice gained some Black Type on Saturday at Rosehill when finishing a good third in the Group III ATC Gloaming Stakes.
The Luke Price trained son of Manhattan Rain has won twice since resuming from a spell and has a bright future.
A $60,000 Magic Millions purchase for Realrosy Pty Ltd from the Newhaven Park draft, Man of Choice was foaled and raised at Newhaven Park for Wilkes Thoroughbreds and Galaxy Breeding Syndicate.
Man of Choice is the second winner for metropolitan winning Redoute’s Choice mare Moonsong, a daughter of Group I placed Moon Magic from the family of Group I winners Ofcourseican and Gimmethegreenlight.
Moonsong is due to foal this spring to Newhaven Park’s promising young sire Delago Deluxe, another Group I winning son of champion sire Encosta de Lago as is Manhattan Rain.
