Nice Winner and Timely Update

A modest $26,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Newhaven Park draft in 2014, four year-old Manhattan Rain gelding Manhattan Son scored his third win at Hawkesbury on Sunday to provide a timely update for his yearling half-brother headed to the 2017 Inglis Classic. Prepared by Clarry Conners, Manhattan Son bolted in to win over 1800 metres by nearly three lengths as favourite and has now won his past two starts at Hawkesbury.
